Committees - Political Education Committee (PEC)
Today more than ever, teachers and other education workers need to join the fight for better living and working conditions, to push back against the national trend that breaks down unions and struggle for the right to collective bargaining! We struggle for our rights as well as the rights of our students and the democratic schooling we need and deserve as we work towards a liberating education. The PEC contributes to this struggle by presenting political educations and sharing resources with unit members that grow our consciousness and capacity to organize, and thus, make us better prepared to engage in the struggle that lies currently and ahead.
